  Introduction

    Some more O’Beirne’s in the 19th and 20th Century From the West Coast of Africa in the 1820’s to the beautiful City of Stratford in the rolling farmland of Ontario in the 1890’s; from Famine starved Evictees in the 1840’s to war in the trenches of World War I and in the desert in World War II; on land, at sea and in the air, some of our small clan were there. Some fought and died for a better world. Some wrote and published to bring information to the people. Some just survived. One, at least, dedicated his life to the fallen women of New York; another died fighting slave traders.
