Professor Bryan Patrick Beirne, the inspiration for this Journal, died on March 29, 1998. On our inside pages we celebrate the life of this great, friendly and talented   man while we mourn his loss. A great man has left us but his ideas, his courage, his dedication, and his inspiration live on.

I think he would be most pleased by our Contributors. True, he was one and he collected others. But there are several he did not see in print, 'til now.crests1.gif (6702 bytes)

I imagine him sitting with all the ancestors as they look kindly on our efforts.

Reward us Bryan; send us their stories so we may tell them.
