InMemoriam
Bryan, December 1997
Professor Bryan Patrick Beirne, the inspiration
for this Journal, died on March 29, 1998. On our inside pages we celebrate the
life of this great, friendly and talented man while we mourn his
loss. A great man has left us but his ideas, his courage, his dedication, and
his inspiration live on.
I think he would be most pleased by our
Contributors. True, he was one and he collected others. But there are several he
did not see in print, 'til now.
I imagine him sitting with all the ancestors as
they look kindly on our efforts.
Reward us Bryan; send us their stories so we
may tell them.
